About All About Pets
All About Pets is a community website run by The Blue Cross, Britain’s pet charity.
The Blue Cross
For over a century The Blue Cross has remained dedicated to caring for and supporting Britain’s companion animals and their owners. We rehome thousands of dogs, cats, horses and small pets each year. We strive to find new owners that are the perfect match.
Our veterinary hospitals, clinics and outreach services provide a lifeline for pets whose owners cannot afford private vets’ fees.
The Blue Cross understands the anguish felt by the loss of a pet. Our Pet Bereavement Support Service has a team of trained and highly experienced volunteers on hand.
We strive to educate pet owners in responsible pet ownership. The Pet Knowledge section on this website is one of the many ways we try to inform pet owners about their beloved animal, and our literature reaches millions of people.
We are only able to continue this work because of the kindness and generosity of our supporters. If you would like to help The Blue Cross care for sick and homeless pets by making a donation or volunteering, please visit
www.bluecross.org.uk or call 01993 822651.
Using All About Pets
In creating this site we hope we have made the perfect website for animal lovers; a place to talk to like-minded people and make friends, discover events taking place near you around the country, learn more about your favourite furry friend and most importantly, have fun! Enjoy exploring the site and getting involved as much or as little as you wish. The surveys, listings groups and forums are only as helpful as the people who use them. Use the search tool at the top-right of the website if you are having trouble finding your way around. The orange panel of navigation across is your simplest route to each area, but also make use of the Popular keywords, latest posts and other cross-links to explore.
Setting the tone
We want everyone to enjoy using this website. Please respect other users and treat them as you would like to be treated. Please read the
rules of the site and because inappropriate conent and unsuitable behaviour will not be tolerated. Now you’ve read the official stuff its time for the entertainment. Get exploring!
