A whole morning dedicated to rabbits!
Although rabbits are the UK’s third most popular pet they are often misunderstood. This year’s Learning About Animals rabbit event will briefly discuss how understanding rabbit behaviour can help us to better understand what pet rabbits need. The focus of this workshop, however, is building the relationship between rabbits and humans and to this end we will explore how rabbits learn and how to tame skittish rabbits. Training rabbits will also be covered. The event will be packed with pictures and video clips to bring the subject to life.
The speaker: Suzanne Rogers is the founder of Learning About Animals. With a long-term passion for rabbits and an interest in how animals learn, she has finally brought the two together for this workshop. Suzanne has a background in biological science and as well as running Learning About Animals and working as an equine behaviour consultant she is the Programmes Manager for Companion and Working Animals at WSPA and travels far and wide running animal welfare projects.
