Crufts to broadcast live throughout show

Wednesday, 03 March 2010
For pet owners who cannot get to the Crufts show this year, Crufts FM will be broadcasting all the events live between 11 and 14 March in Birmingham.

Crufts FM plans to have the latest show results, interviews with competitors and studio guests, features and news about traffic affecting those travelling to the NEC, where the show is being held.

International listeners will also be able to keep up with the action by streaming the broadcast online at the Crufts website.

Winners of the dog categories could be interviewed live and special guests are due to appear in the purpose-built broadcasting studio at the heart of the show.

Presenters plan to link to other commentators around the arena to feature live interviews with dog experts, pet owners, visitors and trade stand exhibitors.

The latest results will be broadcast every 20 minutes with a 'results frenzy' slot at 3pm, and the broadcasts are? scheduled to begin at 7am on every day of the show.

Listeners could interact with the radio presenters by emailing the studio and a daily podcast could be available to download.ADNFCR-1425-ID-19647761-ADNFCR
