  • Re: Anti-social rabbit?
Hello, maybe if you had Buttons spayed it would calm him down enough so you could handle him.  Having said that not all rabbits like being picked up or cuddled, as you will know from your other rabbits.  It might be just a case of accepting that you will only ever be able to stroke Buttons and on his terms.  Good luck.  Rosie.

  • Re: Lost Cat
Hi, really sorry to hear about Grace, hope she come home soon.  Agree with other post maybe she has been locked in a garage or shed.  Have you put leaflets through your neighbours doors asking them to check?  One of my friends cats went missing for 3 weeks and then just appeared again, so don't give up hope.  As for Benson give him lots of hugs ...

  • Re: Jetty Puss Cat RIP
Sara,  No-one on this website thinks you are pathetic.  We have all lost pets at sometime and will exactly how you are feeling.  Let the tears fall for as long as necessary, believe me they will stop falling eventually.  When you can't cry anymore, you will remember the love and fun you shared with Jetty.  Have you got photos of Jetty?  get them ...

  • Re: Dog feet - cut paw
Hello, I would put the paw into a basin of tepid salty water - just to clean the wound and when out walking keep doggy out of the mud/dirt.  In fact it probably would be a good idea to wash the paw after each walk over the next few days.   I'm sure you know without me saying if doggy has trouble putting weight on the paw take it to the vet asap.  ...

  • Re: sick dog
Oh! dear, if the scan showed nothing I don't suppose there is much else left.  I'm sure your vet will have discussed everything with you, sadly the final decision will be yours all the vet can do is advise you what will be best for Goldie.  You won't want Goldie to suffer but you don't want to let go either - it's a heart breaking decision.  Hang ...

  • Re: Rabbit forcefully licking the others eyeballs- is this normal
Hi, sorry for not responding sooner.  I had a rabbit who liked to wash/lick the guinea pigs faces each morning!!! - yes I know that's strange.  So I would be too worried on that point, although maybe make sure that the buck hasn't actually bitten the others face.  You don't say how long ago the buck was neutered?  If it was only recently perhaps ...

  • Re: Jetty Puss Cat RIP
I am so sorry for your loss.  Everyone on this forum will know exactly how you feel, why? because we are all animal lovers and have lost pets. It's good to put your feelings in writing.  Don't be ashamed to cry, it shows how much Jetty was loved as I'm sure Jetty loved you.  Of course you will miss Jetty, it's only natural, but your pain will ...

  • Re: sick dog
I am so very sorry to hear about Goldie.  It is very distressing for us owners to watch our pets suffer and although we do everything we can for them, they don't appear to be getting better and we feel so helpless. Has the vet discussed an ultrasound of her stomach?  This will show up any tumours etc and maybe provide some answers.  You sound a ...

  • Re: My cat goes crazy
Hello again, this is normal behaviour.  My cat use to do this, run up and down the stairs, in and out of the bedrooms like a lunatic, sticking her paw through the bannisters playing.  She also tumbled down the stairs clinging onto the carpet!!! This is normal and nothi
