i rescued a 2 year old staffordshire bull terrier 8 weeks ago from someone i know when i got her she was in very poor condition very skinny and a yeast infection over her body causing baldness and sore flakey skin for which i took her and she was treated at the vets for!! her health has greatly improved but what i am wondering is could this have caused her to look less like a pure staffie as i have seen others from her litter and they look like pure bred and i know the mother and father are aswell as i know the breeder but people keep asking me what my dog is crossed with and they don't beleive me when i say nothing she is full staffie

I am not a staffy person, but I did come across a longer legged staffie - I was told it was a 'Pompey Staff', and that someone had bred their dogs to have longer legs(seen more since as I know what to look for) - tell them 'yes, she doesnt look like some staffys, but I think selective breeding has produced a pretty and good natured girl, and what more could I want.
